OUR HISTORY

Established in 1986.

Wrightway Crating, Packing and Shipping Inc originally started as an Air Freight Business in the 80's. As the San Diego economy changed, Wrightway was formed focusing more on consumer shipments rather than commercial. And we now have a nice mix of both consumer and commercial business.

The company was originally formed by Ron Wright, when he saw a need to help people wanting to move or ship a "small" amount of household goods or personal items (bigger than what they want to handle themselves, but not enough to justify other shipping methods).  Always thinking outside of the box, he came up with our "alternative" shipping method. Today, together with his wife, Kim Wright and a loyal and longtime team of employees, Ron continues to run the business. They are all passionate about Wrightway and they love helping people meet their shipping and logistical needs, protecting your goods and product, all at a fair and affordable price!
